Where does a Newbie learn how to write codes/scripts for pdo/php?

Where does a Newbie learn how to write codes/scripts for pdo/php?

Here's the thing: I am programming for about 2 months now ( I'm still a
newbie) and all I know is to look for related questions on stackoverflow
to try relate to these codes and find the answer to my question and this
way learn what I know through trail and error. With other words, I don't
know how to write a code/script without looking for an example cuz I don't
know/have never learned how to do so.. (When do I put a ; or a "or a '
etc. etc.)
"U should look in related questions before u ask something" This answer I
consider an answer of people who don't feel like helping you but yet want
to tell you that ur a newbie, which I find just plain stupid. Don't you
think that if someone asks it's because he didn't find it? Or if he
overlooked it cuz you DID find it, that the newbie perhaps doesn't know
its that what he's looking for? If u think the newbie isn't making effort
and u don't feel like helping him, shut up maybe and don't post a comment?
All I get nowadayas when I ask something is ppl donwvoting my questions
and commenting stuff like: Ur code is deprecated or Don't use this or
don't use that or this doesn't work.. How is one supposed to find out
/learn what he needs to know this way then? From all I have read and
bumped in to looking for codes I want to use is that MySql is vulnerable
etc etc and shouldn't be used anymore, as for PDO, I am not finding info
on how to use/write this script.
I would like to know:
How and where is a newbie supposed to ever learn and find out about this
if he doesn't ask and can't find any non-deprecated examples of scripts
and tutorials on what he is trying to achieve? Why not post some tutorial
links?
I recently bumped into this: Why shouldn't I use mysql_* functions in PHP?
This is a helpfull tutorial for me to know what codes to use to achieve
certain actions, but the how-to-write-it-out part, I HAVE NO IDEA.. Where
can I learn this? Any good links?
If this is too much asked, then please explain exactly what the community
of this website expects from users because I am getting the feeling that I
should not be asking stuff on a forum anymore ..
I don't mind a little straight forward language as long as u tell me where
I can LEARN to WRITE A SCRIPT FROM A TO Z THANK you!
